Leather jackets and trousers are almost the most classic element of motorcyclist clothing. In addition to the excellent appearance, they also provide the highest level of safety in the event of a fall. Well-maintained leather has a much higher abrasion resistance than textile clothing. However, it should be remembered that clothes made of natural leather require regular maintenance and impregnation. They are very easily subject to the process of drying and oxidation, which causes crumbling of the fibers and cracking of the surface. Clothing then loses not only aesthetic but also protective qualities.

The most important thing is to regularly remove everyday dirt and not let it stay there for longer.

Leather clothes should not be thoroughly cleaned too often, so once or twice a season is enough, more frequent interference with the structure of the leather may deteriorate its attributes.

If you notice minimal traces of color on the brush, stop this activity immediately, as you may end up with spot discoloration of your jacket or trousers. After washing, rinse thoroughly with warm water and leave the garment in a ventilated area, out of the sun to dry completely.
